A Message from Our CEO,

DAVID KOSTROUB

"My name is David Kostroub, and I am the Founder of Arctic Elevation. At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with numerous conditions that altered my entire life. In addition to those conditions, I was diagnosed with arthritis and tendinitis. My situation was 1 in a billion, as no doctor could believe my diagnosis. I was only 13 years old, yet I was already in crippling pain. Freshman year of high school I was bed-ridden. I was forced to enroll into an Online High School, because I didn't have the physical strength to get out of bed anymore. At my lowest, I was 6 feet tall and a mere 105 pounds. As you can imagine, I was the thinnest stick. I was awfully envious of my friends that got to go to school, as they had no idea how quickly my life had turnaround. I searched for years, but no doctor had an answer for me. All of my dreams and aspirations for life vanished. Physically, mentally, and emotionally I had nothing to give.

Over the course of eight years, my body degenerated at rapid speeds. I suffered organ failure at only 16-years of age in Lviv, Ukraine, my family's hometown. At 17, I was involved in a major car crash that left me with major nerve and cervical damage. Fortunately, I had a great support system that never let me give up, even though I would've loved to give up at times.

If it wasn't for everyone that picked me up when I fell, I wouldn't be here today to tell you that I am free of all my pain and suffering. All of the years of misery led me to opening Arctic Elevation. We see a world without limits. A world that you can go chase the summit of the mountain that you have always dreamed of reaching. There is no life if you're in pain, for I know what it is to suffer, but we have the power to change. Arctic Elevation is your support system. Our team is here for you through it all. Arctic Elevation will help repair, regenerate, and improve overall physical performance through our state-of-the-art facilities, making you feel your best, so you can be your best!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What Does a Cryotherapy Session Look Like?

Are you curious about what your Cryotherapy session will look like?

First, you will complete a simple medical waiver to be cleared to experience our groundbreaking Cryotherapy Chamber. Upon completion of the waiver, you’ll head to a private changing room. Our Cryotherapy Chamber utilizes sub-zero temperatures to deliver cold therapy to your body, so we’ll provide you with garments to protect certain parts of your body from the cold. After changing into the provided garments, you’ll head to our state-of-the-art Cryotherapy room. You have the option of turning on any music to get you in the right mindset, then you’ll enter the chamber where you’ll stay for up to 3 minutes.

Afraid 3 minutes is too much?

You choose how long you want your session to be! Gradually increasing your time spent in the chamber is a great way to experience the full benefits of Cryotherapy.

What Should I Wear to My Cryotherapy Session?

At Arctic, we will provide you with a hat, socks, and gloves to use during your session to protect your body from the sub-zero temperature. You can wear shorts, other workout clothes, or the robe provided for further coverage. Men are required to wear their own underwear or shorts. All clients must remove the jewelry and exterior body piercings below the neck. Also, clients should not apply oils, lotions, or cologne before treatment.

What is Cryotherapy? How Does it Work?

Sub-zero healing practices are not new, but at Arctic Elevation we utilize cutting-edge wellness services to have you feeling your best to be your best.

Cryotherapy is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue to elicit a natural anti-inflammatory response, release endorphins, and reduce bodily pain. Once your body is exposed to the arctic temperatures, cold-shock proteins are released and your body goes through a process called thermogenesis. Our bodies respond to cold by producing more mitochondria, converging our body’s tissues into more metabolically active ones. The greater amount of metabolically active tissues our body has, the more fat it will burn.

Originally developed by a Japanese rheumatologist to treat osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, it was soon discovered to have potential great benefits to other areas of treatment.

Who Should Avoid Cryotherapy?

Those with the following conditions should avoid Cryotherapy, or speak to their doctor prior to scheduling their session.

· Pregnancy

· Heart Disease

· High Blood Pressure >150 not controlled by medication

· Cold-Activated Asthma

· Severe Raynaud’s Syndrome

What Does a Red-Light Therapy Session Look Like?

Are you curious about what your Red-Light therapy session will look like? First, you will complete a simple medical waiver to be cleared to experience the benefits of our revolutionary red light therapy. Upon completion of the waiver, you’ll head to our Red-Light therapy room, a staff member will turn on the machine and give you your privacy, then you will experience pure tranquility. Each session typically lasts 15 minutes as you lay down and soak up your instant glow.

Customers may remove their shirts or change into the provided robe to fully maximize the amount of light during their session.

What is Red-Light Therapy? How Does it Work? Are There Any Risks?

Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment that uses low-wavelength red light to improve your skin’s appearance, such as reducing wrinkles, scars, redness, acne, and other medical conditions. With more energy, other cells can do their work more efficiently, such as repairing skin, boosting new cell growth, improving mood and energy, relieving pain and inflammation, optimizing sleep, and enhancing skin rejuvenation.

Presently, more than 3,000 studies and articles are dedicated, published, and backed by the National Institute of Health about the safety and benefits of red light therapy treatment. By activating the mitochondria of our cells, energy proteins are produced at a higher rate which can deliver cellular-level healing, inflammation relief, chronic joint pain relief, collagen production, skin toning, and SO much more! Being a natural and non-invasive therapy, the advantages of using our pioneer, Prism Light Pod, are endless.

Who Should Avoid Red-Light Therapy?

Those with the following should avoid red-light therapy, or speak to their doctor prior to scheduling a session

· Diseases that involve the retina of the eye

· Diabetes

· Use of photosensitizing medications like lithium, melatonin, phenothiazine antipsychotics, and certain antibiotics.

· Pregnancy

What Does An Infrared Session Look Like?

Are you curious about what your Infrared Sauna session will look like?

First, you will complete a simple medical waiver in order to be cleared to experience the benefits of our revolutionary infrared sauna. Before entering the sauna, you will undress in your private changing room and cover yourself with a robe or towel. Each session can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. It is very important to hydrate with room temperature water before, during, and after your session, please arrive with a water bottle. Your infrared sauna session is the perfect opportunity for you to completely disconnect from everything and enjoy becoming the best version of yourself.

How Does Infrared Sauna Work?

Infrared saunas stimulate cardiovascular circulation with oxygen-rich blood flow, producing white blood cells to reduce inflammation and calm swelling to alleviate chronic pain. One infrared sauna session, lasting around 30 minutes with a temperature ranging from 120 to 150 degrees, can help someone burn up to 600 calories. Infrared sauna sessions can help relieve minor pain, accelerate athletic recovery, boost circulation and improve cardiovascular health.

All of our services are safe and effective.

Every employee is trained and knows how to give the customer the best experience.

Our Cryotherapy and Red Light Therapy equipment has software that processes all of your information and evaluates if you're allowed to use the service. For example, if you have diabetes that software will see that you marked "Diabetes" during the check-in process and will not let you do cryotherapy. The customer would need a doctor's note that they can do cryotherapy.

No doctor's referral needed.

Walk-ins welcome.

All services are compliant with government standards.

Our prevention-first model encourages us to take our health and well-being into our own hands and stay one step ahead. Whether you know it or not, preventative care is probably already a part of your everyday routine! We try to get enough sleep at night to prevent being tired, we wear a jacket when it’s cold to prevent getting sick, we try to exercise and eat nutritionally to prevent illness to our bodies. PERCUSSION

The Hypervolt massager benefits are increased oxygen & blood flow to the area, smoothing out the surface of the tissue, and loosening of ligaments and tendons.

HOW PERCUSSION THERAPY HELPS?

Using the HyperVolt to warm up and cool down can prime your body for a tough workout and help return oxygen to your muscles afterward — which further aids in recovery.

The tip of the massage gun is applied to the area of soreness during vibration therapy.

The gun aims to reduce inflammation by flushing extracellular fluids such as lymph fluid and venous blood out of the muscle tissue and into the circulatory system. It can help relax tight muscles, break up scar tissue and adhesions, and minimize muscle soreness and tension.
